Victor Lopez Founder and Chairman
Youth Intervention Transport Services, LLC was founded by Victor Lopez. Since inception Victor has personally transported hundreds of “At Risk Youth”, with a success rate of 100% incident free. Additionall Victor has worked in conjunction with supervised hundreds of transports both in the United States and Internationally. Victor’s solid reputation is recognized by parents and adolescent care specialists as a trustworthy and reliable professional. With more than 13 years experience in escorted transport technique, Mr. Lopez is highly skilled in locating and safely returning troubled youth to their families.
As a father himself, Victor understands the unconditional love and support we all want to offer our children. Only a parent can truly understand the often heart-wrenching dynamics involved in letting go, in order to “save” a child. Victor has a unique ability of relating to parents and children of all ages, as well as emotional and economic levels. Victors core values and beliefs are what led him to create Youth Intervention Transport Services LLC and Chula’s Kids a nonprofit organization that helps kids get involved in sports regardless of their ability to pay. Chulas Kids helps families cover the cost of fees, equipment and even camp. Victor’s unwavering devotion to kids and their love of sports is the driving force behind his success . Victor is actively involved in various community service projects. His collegiate soccer and life’s experience support his mentoring of at risk adolescents on and off the field. He is well revered as a coach and role model by parents and children. Family is the foundation for Victors success and entrepreneurial spirit. His “give-back” attitude is a true testament to the single mom that raised him and his brother to both become successful, yet humble men. Past and present experience in leadership, training and mentoring, have helped to support and influence the growth and success of Youth Intervention Services. Years of experience have helped mold the Intervention/ Transition Escort process to a less obtrusive process.
Victor Lopez was raised by his mother in a strong, single-parent household. With the encouragement of his mother, Victor learned at an early age the values of hard work, commitment and cooperation. His hard work and determination paid off, when he received a full ride scholarship to California State University, Northridge. Victor has two brothers, also in law enforcement, one is a Detective for San Mateo County Sheriffs and the other a retired watch commander in San Mateo County Juvenile Hall. Victors personal contribution includes dedicating his time to a Non-Profit Organization called “Shamrock Way Organization” The Shamrock Way organization is a volunteer-powered charity committed to helping at risk youth become leaders of sports, technology and social activism (http://www.shamrockway.org.com/). Victor’s personal constitution includes studying & training in the art of Mixed Martial Arts. He is an avid sports enthusiast, both as a participant and spectator. As dedicated as he his to others, Victors first priority is to his own family. He loves spending time with his daughter Giselle and English Bull Terrier “Ferragamo”.
